Embrace the Shift – Somatic and Restorative Yoga for the Winter Transition

As the days grow shorter and winter’s quiet energy approaches, take time to slow down and nurture yourself with this gentle 2-hour Somatic and Restorative Yoga workshop, themed around the natural shift from autumn to winter. This practice will help you release tension, ground your energy, and find balance during the seasonal transition.

The session will start with energising Qi-Gong movements to warm up the body and create vibrations to open the energy flow.

You'll then be guided into deeply nurturing Restorative Yoga poses, where your body will be fully supported by props in long, restful poses. These positions will help you soften, especially around the hips, while your mind relaxes and unwinds.

With each breath, you’ll be invited to sink deeper into stillness, letting go of any stress or overwhelm as you transition from the busyness of autumn to the introspective calm of winter.

No experience is needed for this gentle, nourishing practice. All props are provided, but feel free to bring your favourite blanket, towel, or eye pillow to enhance your comfort. Dress in warm, cosy clothing, and allow this session to support you in moving through the seasons with ease and grace.
