This yoga therapy workshop with Angela aims to bring about a restful state that induces the parasympathetic nervous system which is associated with the body’s rest and digest responses such as slowing the heart rate, lowering blood pressure, encourages digestion, promotes muscle relaxation and regulates sleep patterns.
The session begins with mindful breath awareness followed by yoga asana to stretch and relax the muscles before being guided into a profound state of physical, mental and emotional relaxation with the systematic meditation method of Yoga Nidra.
The workshop has been specifically chosen for this date as the clocks go forward on March 28th as we transition into Daylight Saving Time.
