Fundraising for India - Disasters Emergency Committee Coronavirus Appeal
India is currently facing a second wave of coronavirus that is sweeping through the country at an alarming rate. The number of cases and recorded deaths are rising by the minute and hospitals and cremetoreums are running out of space.
There are many reasons to ruminate over why there's been a dramatic second wave of the pandemic, whether that be lack of social distancing or a delay in reacting from the Government. Ultimately, the pandemic in this country is now spiralling out of control and India's health system is no longer able to cope. The Disaster Emergency Committee brings together 14 leading aid charities - responding to the crises by providing medical suppliers, treatment facilities and logistics support to help overwhelmed health services.
India is a place close to our hearts and we want to help us raise funds for the #CoronavirusAppeal led by DEC (@disastersemergencycommittee ).
We would love your help to raise funds for the most vulnerable communities. On Sunday 2nd 10.30-11.30 AFB teacher Shanel will be hosting a vinyasa class where all proceeds from class passes and class packs will go to the appeal.
(Memberships will not be included, so if you have a membership and want to support this appeal, please buy a class pass instead for the session or donate directly to DEC).
Join as usual via MindBody this Sunday 2nd 10.30-11.30am. Thank you.
