Our Beginners Yoga workshop will help you to build an understanding of the general principles of yoga. The workshop is based on the Vinyasa Flow style of yoga where you will explore sequences of movements such as ‘sun salutations’, as well as standing and sitting postures.
Through this 2 hour workshop, you will gain insight into:
Yoga philosophy (8 Limbs of Yoga)
Breathing, ujayi breath (pranayama)
Basic postures (asana)
Bandhas (energy locks)
Drishti (gaze points)
This workshop is suitable for absolute beginners and also for those who want to return to the basics.
